Can you pick my skip bin up earlier?

Yes, if you require your skip bin to be picked earlier than the 7 day period we can definitely book that in. Please contact us to arrange the early pick up.

Can I move the skip bin?

No. The operator will endeavour to place the bin in your requested position. Moving the bin in most instances prevents the recovery of the bin and will result in extra charges for yourself and having to empty the bin out before it is moved again. Sometimes the skip bin cannot be placed where you want. This may be due to overhanging trees, power lines or sloping ground. Moving the bin requires special lifting apparatus. The bin needs to be lifted evenly to prevent damage to the bin and the lifting equipment on the truck. Moving the bin with cars or bobcats damages the bins and could potentially cause the bin to collapse on pick up.

Where can I place the skip bin?

The skip bin can be placed anywhere on your property, provided there is access for our truck. Bins are not allowed to be placed on the road or footpath where they may obstruct other traffic, without a council permit.

What do I do with hazardous chemicals?

You cannot put any hazardous waste into the skip bins. To dispose of this you need to contact your local council. Hazardous chemicals include Solvents, Paints, Asbestos, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, Grease traps etc.

How high can I fill the skip bin?

All skip bins are to be level loaded and filled to the rim only, without any materials or items overhanging the top to prevent spillage whilst being transported. This is very important as it is illegal to transport overloaded bins and your bin may not be collected if it is over full.

When and how do I pay for the skip bin?

Skip bins are paid for at drop off. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard credit cards, cash and cheque. Any additional charges for excess tip fees will need to be added to the cost of the service. Please discuss your payment preference before delivery.
